Definition:

A quick, inline Cuff that must be loaded from both the Standing End and Running End or it will Collapse.

Notes:

Often incorrectly described as an inline Single Column Tie, the Hojo cuff must have equal tension both entering and exiting its friction or it will collapse or Cinch (v).

Named as a nod to Shibari’s roots in Hojō-Jutsu 捕縄術 which prioritized speed and stability over the safety of the person being tied.
